Great video content how to create your very own local gold river, look forward to consuming more info on the mass lead generation web river Kyle & seen your case studies on the mass river of gold you created.
Great stuff Kyle.. but I’m on slow a connection so can’t watch it all smoothly.
Thanks for all the good emails and bonuses you’ve been sending out lately too.
Stuart
Try pausing the video and letting it buffer – should be ok then.
Glad you’re liking all the content, got more to come!
Hey Kyle
Awesome cutting edge content.
Great to see real life students there showing the possible results as well.
Ian
Thanks Ian – the content is about 6 months old now but is still way more advanced than what most people are doing.
Wait til you see what I’ve got in store for FWF3
You’ve got good solid information but dude, your presentation? Needs help. You’re like a robot spouting information up there. No vocal inflection, take a shot a humor, a clever observation, something. I have a book you must read. “Resonate” by Nancy Duarte “How to Present Visual Stories that transform audiences”. Seriously, you’re bad. If they’re not engage in the presentation, they’re not listening, and they’re not buying.
Appreciate your candor
It was my first time presenting on stage, obviously there’s much to be improved.
It might not come across on video, but at the live event people were certainly engaged and taking notes furiously. And while it wasn’t a sales presentation, plenty of people still bought
I was one of the only speakers invited back for FWF3 so I must be doing something right.
I wasn’t worried about the way you presented, it was fine to me and I wish I was at the event. I follow James which lead me to your material Kyle. I was more focused on what you were saying which was kick arse awesome, am I allowed to write that? Anyway presenting on stage well we all know how that’s the number one fear in the world you did it anyway, cool! I was enjoying the information especially the directory development because it’s something I thought of doing also here in my country. Great information! It wasn’t bad at all, everyone’s personality is different, thanks!
awesome content Kyle, given me lots to think about, really interested knowing more, boot camp link goes to blank page?
Bootcamp DVDs will be available this week.
Been busy with my own consulting business
Please let me know when you release the Bootcamp DVD’s. Thanks.
Good stuff Kyle. I quite my job a few weeks ago and you may have seen me in SFR. I am ready to take what I know to the next level. In the past 3 weeks I have been networking 3 mornings a week and I have a few grand of business in the pipeline. Issue is – why am I chasing 10 £500-£1000 clients? Rather than 1 £5000 client. I like what I see and you know your stuff. Thumbs up!
One of the guys in my coaching group has pulled $90,000 in a single month from networking events, the key is to find the right group and know how to approach it
Nothing wrong with starting low if you need to build your confidence, but premium level clients are definitely where you want to be.
Hi Kyle, Great presentation at FWF really enjoyed it, quick question I heard you on a webinar with James Schramko talking about offering Autoresponder services, I have a specific niche to go into but would you say this is a profitable business model and approx how much are other people charging for this service. What I would propose to potential clients is to set up their autoresponder series with content and provide weekly newletter content and have a set up fee and then the monthly retainer but have no idea what to charge?
Your advice would be most appreciated.
Kind regards
Nicole
Hey Nicole
We have a few people in our group who only offer autoresponders and email marketing services such as newsletters. So there’s definitely opportunity there. You can charge whatever you like based on the value you can provide
Some people charge $500 for an opt-in page, 7-email series and thank you page… I charge $500 per email. The question is how much value can you demonstrate and then deliver?
One of our students created an opt-in form and wrote a few emails for a small business and it generated $10,000 in the first month. There’s no reason why they couldn’t package that up and sell it for $10,000 (or more) to other businesses.
Cheers
Kyle
Thanks so much Kyle, I’ve got alot to think about but really appreciate your advice.
Nicole
How do you set up the 25% profit sharing deal exactly? Does the business pay you that percentage of their total sales or of the sales that you generate? If it’s 25% of their total sales, is that their sales for the year or for the quarter or for each month? Who keeps track of it? How do you verify that the business is paying you your share honestly?
Do we have to get a lawyer and/or accountant involved? Or is there a software tool that can do the job?
Any further details are much appreciated.
There are no rules
<== Read that 100 times. NO rules.
You can set these deals up however you like. There’s no right or wrong way, just whatever works for the particular situation.
Almost every deal I’ve done has been setup slightly differently — sometimes it’s a percentage of the business revenue, other times a percentage of a particular campaign/website only, sometimes it’s gross and other times net… could be for a month or two years. Again it just depends on the specifics.
Typically they will take all money and track everything, with you getting access to the accounting data. If sales are coming in online then you can just use an affiliate system to track everything.
You don’t have to get a lawyer or accountant involved, especially for smaller deals, but you might want to at some stage. Depends on your risk tolerance.
Hey great information, I am currently putting together a similar deal, this came in very handy for my confidence to go in and know the value I am creating for them.
Kyle may I ask what directory software you use to install a business database onto a wordpress site? I have watched this video like 4 time’s I’m captured around that idea love the content. You mentioned about minute 34 I think into the video, how this can be achieved in about 5 seconds? I have found a few good sites where you can purchase a directory template and it looks great, is this what you are referring to? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance
We have used a couple of different scripts, depends on exactly what you need.
MAKO, EzEmpireBuilder and Directory Press are all worth looking in to
Thank you Kyle for that info, its a big help appreciate it and yes was on Directory Press, sweet!!
Some terrific content! when you say 20% of the revenues how is this calculated is it 20% of the additional profits that the business will generate in one year. And do they pay you this every year?
Thank again
Yes typically it would be a percentage of the increased revenues, usually for around 1-3 years. But there are no rules, it’s all down to the deal you strike.
Hi Kyle, wow, what timing finding you. I just started a local IM business this week and know I need some ‘been there – still doing that’ guidance. I see the sign up form includes an ongoing VIP Mastermind Forum – do you contribute to that Forum as well for ongoing advice beyond the initial consultations? Cheers
Hi Tony,
Yes I’m in the Mastermind Club forum every day and personally answer every question that comes in… plus I run all our monthly training webinars.
We have new members joining almost daily — everyone from brand new Internet marketers to old school marketing consultants and corporate escapees — anyone looking to fast-track their results working with local business.
If you liked this presentation you’ll love what’s in the coaching program
Cheers
